Egypt - Pyramid and the Sphinx

I liked the perspective / angle here that makes the Sphinx look so large a pyramid can sit on its back.
I haven't given this my usually processing, as I've been doing some photoshop tutorials and trying to lean some new tricks and techniques in processing the shots. So any feedback on the processing as well as composition would be appreciated.

That's a great shot and PP. It brings back great memories when I was there a few years back. I assume its taken at Giza?

No critique at all. All A1 from over here. The tones are beautiful and also the clouds.

Big Pix, nothing was cut and pasted, you are looking at the original shot minus (2 very small people) that I chose to clone out to keep it barren. The PP involved, was curves with a layer mask and also a second layer (30% opacity) with a High Pass filter on it to bring out the detail in the rocks a little.

Craig you have my public apology......... but it must be the layer mask that gives the cutout effect as you can see where it was applied...... now there is a tool in PS that will fix that, I think it is > layer> matting> defringe........ I would still add the camel

EDIT: ....... or it is >image > Variables > Define

it is one or the other, it has been a long time since I have played in this area......... chris may be able to help

Bernie - Apology accepted, but your bright eyes have picked up on my lazy masking job, I should redo it better! thanks for letting me know.
