Love the first one. Great work

IMHO, the background of the 1st photo is quite distracting and the 2nd photo is lack of a main subject to look at (may I suggest for flower photography, try to shoot the flowers in different angles such as really close up, sideway, same level with the flower, ant-view as the one in my avatar, etc). Once you're in this type of macro mode, you really need to get down and dirty.

Wow, first one is great, composition works for me.. Don't mind the BG myself.

Love the composition of the first one.
We get many great "frog" images on this Forum and it's great to see a different perspective.
The background provides an interesting juxtaposition i.e. "nature" vs "the concrete jungle".
Lovely colours in the shot of "cosmos".
I would have liked to have seen all of the flower in the front, making it the focus of the picture.

Like the first one, in my opinion the background makes the shot!

I have to go with the 'love the frog shot' crowd
Maybe just a slightly quicker shutter speed though ??? Could be me, but there seems to be a little bit of movement/blur around the edge of the frog, but regardless, I like the play between the 2
