I will try and get some shots of the setup on the weekend.

Quickly.

Old fish tank, Bunnings light, golf ball and patience.

Took all of 20 minutes, including cleaning and filling the old fishtank.

Love the second one. From my perspective, it could do with a little cropping on the left hand side.

It's always nice to see some different shots, even if i don't particularly see myself going out and trying this. It just gives me good motivation to make sure I'm always trying to think a bit differently. Thanks for the inspiration to get of my behind! :D

For the people who asked how I did the golf ball splash.

Splash # and #2 where done using only the 2 yellow spotlights you see in this photo. I just dropped the ball and used a remote shutter switch to trigger the camera when I thought the time was right. I think the photos done this way worked out better than the ones below with the flashes.

Splash #3 and #4 where done using the flashes that can be seen to the front left and right of the fish tank. No spotlights. The "studio" was dark, camera set to 5 second exposure, then I dropped the ball and triggered the flash when I thought the ball was hitting the water.

Hope this helps.
