hmmm the image is a bit dark and the person a bit small. It definitely conveys the "unknown" though

I like it just the way it is, well almost I'd clone out the little boat on the horizon as I find it distracting from the theme and composition of the shot. Well done.

The first spot my eye went to was the cloud, and then i figured by the name of the photo there was something else there. It took me a second to see the guy. Maybe try and get rid of the big cloud?

I am not sure about this one as there is something bothering m,e that I cannot put my finger on. Certainly it is a little dark and yes I almost had to look for the surfer. Perhaps if the surfer was positioned more prominently.

I like this Nigell, it is very remiscent of the arty photography we saw in the late seventies (and that
is meant as a complement, not a criticism!!)

I wouldn't change anything either. I think the strength is, at least partly, in the proportions.

Well done

Thanks for the comments. I tend to be an arty guy so most of my stuff has an artistic lend to it. So I will take the "70s" comment :)

I like it with the proportions and look as is, but I'd probably clone out the mast on the horizon as well.

Other than that, I think it conveys the title well.

Nigell, I'm a bit undecided about this one. I like it but I think what I would like to see is the surfer on the left so that he is not sailing out of the photo, but then I think the white cloud in the left top balances the surfer on the bottom right.

So I came up with this, I hope you don't mind.
