Hi guys,

First posts for me. Keen to hear people's views/comments.

Not sure if the last one works for others- I appreciate some people don't like lens flare.

Thanks

Adam

Welcome :)

All very nice shots, something to like in each of them. My pick would have to be #3. Really like the sun rays and nicely exposed.

Really nice shots. Just curious where you took the photos from? I'm pretty new to canberra and have been up Mt Ainslie and Black mountain and there is some nice spots around.

These ones are from my balcony. I'm fortunate enough to have a pretty good view over the Brindabella Mountains, Black Mountain and the Telstra tower.

I consider Mt Ainslie to have the best view of Canberra. The view from Red Hill isn't too bad either.

There are a lot of things I miss about living in Canberra... and the clear skies and sunsets are two,,,

Hard to pick... I would say my fav is 3 closely followed by 2... (being a Meteorologist I like photos that accentuate cloud features....)

Yeah i really like the view from Mt Ainslie. I went up there with the last lunar eclipse. It was pretty nice. Granted i haven't really done that much traveling around the area, but it's my favourite so far :D

I have to say the second one does it for me. it really gives the idea of a fire in the sky. love it. the third shot does look a lot like dawn. sunsets are so versatile, so many options and so many outcomes from the one situation! good stuff!
