Can I bore you with one more?Sorry.
I'm excited that I am getting the results I want from the studio This one is of my daughter, she was excited that she got her own "private" session, without the boys!!! Cheers, Andrew

Re: Can I bore you with one more?Nice shot and nice studio lighting setting. Did you use a flash meter to check the lighting intensities around the shooting area? From the photo, I think it's very much evenly lit, which is usually hard to set up.
Re: Can I bore you with one more?Another nice shot.
Any chance you can take a step back and show us a shot of your setup?? MATT
Re: Can I bore you with one more?
Thanks liberty. I don't own a lightmeter, was thinking about it, maybe one day. I have been keeping a lighting log book where I draw little setup diagrams and flash/camera settings etc... So I know pretty much what to set the lights to and what f stop to set the camera to. This one was f13 (I just leave the shutter at 200), ISO 100
Thanks Matt, this one is my favourite so far. I will put the 24mm on may other camera and take a setup shot. I am using the 70-200 at the moment so I can't get any setup shots with that lens. Here is the rest from that session if you are interested: - http://follanphotography.zenfolio.com/p727908273/, including a semi setup shoot (well you can see the top of the softbox anyway ) Cheers. Attached to her arms I am sick of getting the floor in the shot so I framed a little tighter, depending on how I use the image I could crop a little more off the bottom. Getting some props (chairs) tomorrow so this will resolve the floor issue. Andrew

Re: Can I bore you with one more? These are really good shots! I'm guessing your daughter is fairly photogenic? It's sometimes the hardest thing getting the shots you want with kids.
Re: Can I bore you with one more?
Hey Phoenix, Yeah Sienna is pretty good in front of the camera. Actually she is really good at following instructions. If I ask her to stand a certain way she does it pretty much straight away. Not like her Brothers that are just not good at all!!! I have a pretty good connection with most kids so I don't find it to hard to direct them. Adults on the other hand are impossible for me (in the studio, weddings are ok). I am not real great with models/adults Andrew
