Hey all,

Havent posted on here for a long while. Few quick model shots I took a couple weeks back. After some C&C for my next shoot. Thanks.

Mitch - my view on these shots is that you have taken them in the wrong location. They appear ’messy’ and my suggestion would be to take the lady and the chopper to the country and get some air around the shots.

Conversely, a good bone yard shot would be great. . .

Chris is 100% correct. Look at the background in the second one to understand the concept of what he's saying; there's crap everywhere.

To emphasise this point, there seems to be no relationship between the background and the subject matter in, for instance, this image. Why does this image have this background? What does it add to the image? How does it help the image? How does it help tell your story?

Mitch, can you answer those questions for me, please?

I know nothing about this stuff, but I think a less-busy background would make these much better. Hope you don't mind, but perhaps a bit of blur would help? (obviously not as much as I've done)

Yeah the background wasnt of my choice. The shoot was really a slap together. Just a quick favour. The location is actually out the front of the shop. Thanks for the comments though and keep them coming :)
