Photos from Lone PineI went to Lone Pine (in Brissy) for the first time on Thursday and had a ball.
So I thought I'd share some photos. The first one isn't great but it's funny so I thought I'd include it. I can imagine the Eagle saying "Exit, stage right" This little guy got stage fright and didn't want to fly to his handler at one stage. "Hello, I see the assassins have failed"
Re: Photos from Lone PineWow great photos, well done
Re: Photos from Lone PineYou're not wrong, the first one is a stitch 3&4 are great shots too. You look mighty close to these suckers..

Re: Photos from Lone PineThanks everyone for your lovely comments. I was able to get pretty close to the wildlife there, was fantastic.
I'm going again next week with a friend and her son. "Hello, I see the assassins have failed"
Re: Photos from Lone PineChris - they are bloody great shots - well done !!!!
That first shot is wonderfully timed - you don't often see such a regal and majestic bird looking, well, goofy ?? I love the emu, the owl is beautifully exposed with no blow outs in the white plumage and a gorgeous catchlight in the eye !! Re: Photos from Lone PineLMAO @ the first one!! Its a classic!!
I also adore the Emu image too... the composition is superb... the side on angle is a pleasant change from all the front on cutesy emu shots that we tend to take normally... really good work... The last thing I want to do is hurt you... but it's still on the list...
Re: Photos from Lone PineThanks for your lovely comments Bindii.
