This is a macro i took some time ago and was wondering if people wanted to CC it?
It was shot with a 105mm Macro and my D200.
Thoughts?

I think the image is a tad dark to my liking. Probably, it better if you zoom further in or you get the entire flower (petals) in the frame. 105 indeed is a good versatile lens.....you'll enjoy it...

I would add that the focus looks a little off.

I Love it, the colourn really works for me. Focus may be slightly off but it works for this picture.
The only thing that bugs me is the rouge piece in the top left(Another leaf?)
Well done

I am a fan of shallow depth and crisp images alike. This does not quite sit into either for me.
The colour is great and I agree that it would have been a better shot if it was closer or further out. There also seems to be some minor camera shake going on. Was this a hand held shot?
Hope this is what you were after.
Regards Colin

Hey everyone. Thanks for the comments. Yes it was a handheld shot. I was away seeing my grandparents and just put in y camera bag but no tripod.
I might do a bit of PP on it in the next few days and see if i can make it a little more appealing. I've always liked this pic, so if i can get it better that would be great.
Thanks again!

Here is an updated version of the flower macro:
What are peoples thoughts now?
More appealing? More needs to be done?
Is the leaf in the upper right distracting? If so what do you think i should do about it?
Thanks again!

I don't like the boldness of the yellow so much on the new image . . . it seems too over powering . . .just my opinion
