I find the last 2 very appealing, I could easily imagine them in a brochure

Love to see bigger versions, but they look great. #1 looks like my cup 'o' tea.

great shots!
The second one could benefit from a worker or a car in the picture to give feel of scale. Otherwise it looks a little small. On Strobist website there was a link some time ago to a video about shooting this kind of things and what too look for to make the shot amazing as appose to just good.

I like the first. It would work well as a cover shot.

I did a few photography jobs with the mines over the last few years before i moved to canberra. It was a pretty good experience, but after about 2 years it became a bit mundane. It payed well though :)

Nice shots... Love second and third...

What was the technique for the third?

In the third shot I could see the lights of the larger truck coming up and the ute was doing some work for me, so i ask them to stop at that point for me, and took the shot at a slower shutter speed to get the blur of the other truck behind. It was a little while ago so i'm not sure of the specifics though.

Thanks for the comments everyone!

The 2nd shot is really impressive, great use of colour and light.

If you can go again, 1 would be great if you could close in to the top of the conveyor belt and frame the sunset behind it. I realise this may be impossible, there are areas it's not safe to go, but it would look good.

Thanks for the comments everyone. I have 5 images that i love and that have been published and used on websites, but they have the company name in them and they won't let me use them outside of the company.
