#1 Taken in the Coptic Museum (in the Coptic Area, Cairo)
#2 A lantern in the Hanging Chapel (gorgeous, church) in the Coptic Cairo area, its full of lovely ornate wooden panels (I have some more detailed shots from the church is was great.
#3 Sunsetting over A Mosque near Khan al-Khalili bizarre
#4 Out of focus street shot near Fishawi's Coffee Shop

Craig, absolutely love the simplicity of the first and like the second but feel I should like it more. Possibly the very high highlights of light distract, I am really not sure but I want to like it more than I do. Should I call you Mr Cartier Bresson for the fourth?

#1 has got my vote for sure
Everything about it is great, especially the tones. #3 is also a nice shot. Not sure why I like #4, but I do.

Nice work Craig
Cairo is a fascinating city, I hope that you visited the museum.

Yes, twice! The second time I ran away from the crowds to the Coptic area the first (I spent 4 hours wandering around inside).

Craig - I think your compositional skills make #1 - it could easily be an ordinary shot, but your framing make the most of both the colours and the scene. #2 shows a great eye for detail - the streaming light really makes this shot. #3 by contrast is a little lacking in punch. As for #4 - maybe Leigh will like it

Especially #1. Looks Egyptianish.
