These are a few building pics taken with my new 14-24. It is one very sharp lens.
Thanks to Gary and Poon.

You must be one happy bunny John with some very nice results. But, as a Tasmanian, surely you should know that the brewery is Cascade

Woops, somone moved the S on my keyboard to be too close to the D.
Actually Chris, I prefer Boags, so that's probably why I got the spelling wrong.

I agree John, Boags is the best

Nice set of shots once again. #3 is my pick of the batch

And please, *anything* but Boags Premium! That stuff is awful! My old man buys it because he knows I won't drink it..

Clean that mouth out.

Beautiful images John. I think you might have stumbled upon the best Nikon/Nikkor combination ever.

WOW! Can you write a little review on the lens after you have shot a few more pics? Your posted pics are stunning!

John

This is doing nothing for my D3 lust.

That 3rd image really stands out for me - it has a very painterly quality to it thanks to your great use of the warm light (and some high quality PP too I'd say)

Great images John.
One of Bel and my favourite holiday's yet was our two week stint in Tassie! We drove past cascade brewery but did a tour of boags...and yes..it sure is the better beer.
If every u grow tired of either your D3 or 14-24 I will PM you my mailing address! Keep posting :)

Yes all of them are. I've added some notes on how they're done in my Hobart docks thread.

Go on Peter, you know you want to. I am also seriously impressed with Alison's D300. It does just about as good a job as the D3. Doesn't quite match the D3 at ISO3200, but you don't often go there.

I'll keep that in mind Geoff.

Not a problem Matt. It won't be for a couple weeks though. Photoshopping a gorgeous model today, shooting a fashion parade tonight and a Forest Festival on Sunday. The Forest Festival will have heaps of big shiny trucks and machinery just crying out for low perspective, in your face, 14mm images. Yum.

Cheers
John
