A simple dew drop on one of my Cordylines. Going to revisit this subject again as I like the effect.

Beautifully simple Mark and nice creamy OOF background too with a good colour contrast. You're having fun with macros of late eh.

Hi Xerubus.

I like this shot. Nice effect with the background. Was it possible to get one with the image in the drop sharp? I reckon that would make it look even better.

What settings / lighting did you use on this please?

Hi Russell,

It is possible to get the image inside the drop sharp, however you need to focus stack shots due to limited dof. This is something I will be trying in the future. Lighting was sb600 wireless (diffused) on the background and slightly below the drop.

Thankyou guys.

Trevor.. I can't get enough of the small world, and it's all from my garden so I don't have to leave the beer fridge :) :)
