Tried to do the best I could to get out from this but the friend insisted I did his wedding - far from my favourite photography types, but I gave it a shot anyway, was really worried as it's my first attempt at wedding stuff.

Would love to know your opinions.





I normally don't like selective colouring, but thought it might work here...

I'd probably straighten the horizon in the first - if you can without losing her dress that is -.. were they looking into the sun by any chance though cause they seem to be squinting a bit...

2nd shot is great very well exposed and I likes the fun pose too.. I'm not a fan of selective colour but its works in the next... for me anyways...

the last one looks good also.. although I have to ask if anything has been done to elongate the groomsmens heads?... strange question I know but are their heads really that long?. or did you do something in the pp?.. (okay you may spank me if I have just insulted anyone)..

elongated head seems to be from lens distortion on the edges.

#2 is the pick for me.

I think the 3rd groomsman is the fonz.

I like number one - if it wasn't a wedding photo I'd leave as is, otherwise for a formal shot it should prob. be straightened

the selective colour doesn't work for me as there isn't enough contrast in the pic to show you have used it, it's easy to miss. I don't know, sharpen and pop the saturation maybe

Thanks for your feedback people. There might be a some distortion from the lens in the last one, Bindii. I'll have to check which focal length I was on.

Hi Alex, some nice shots there. And congratulations on your first wedding. Looks like your fashion photography experience has helped in getting some good exposures and poses. The B&G might like the selective desat shot especially if they haven't seen that type of thing before, but IMHO the original is a lot stronger.
