That wasn't what got me. It was the full set of hair!
My mates baby was 5kg out of the oven but he looked like a little baby.
Yours almost is like he's had a few months of childhood in your wifes tummy!

Probably said to himself "Meh, I'll skip all that baby stuff and come out when I'm ready"

Arrhh, yes :D

We couldn't believe it either, it even had blonde highlights through it just like he came from the Hairdressers.

Amazing, considering his old man is bald as a badgers bum

Must be from his GrandDad.

Thanks Craig,

It was pretty slow around 1/15 / 1/30th . I had a ledge to lean against which allowed me to keep it pretty sharp.

Mic,

CONGRATULATIONS!!
love the image, reminds me alot like my 6 week old son (14th feb)! i have a photo of him wearing something similar and in a similar pose... very scary!! (ill have to try and dig it up)

Certainly a very nice lens!

He even has some hair like your son!!

Gees Jdear,

Thanks for that, Nice shot too.
No I have a 17mth old little girl which is nearly blind from me flashing her ( with the Flash on my D70 that is )
At least now I can bounce with my SB800 to save my boys eyes.

Gees, are we SNAGS or what

Posting pics like this ( Where would you read about it  )

In Sensitive New Age Guy Magazine I suppose.

Well done on the baby pics and congratulations on the new arrival.

I hammered the daylights out of an old Pentax P30 when my first was born - I'm sure her first words were "Hurry up and take the damn picture Dad". The video camera also went everywhere with us and got thoroughly worn out in the process.

Number Two came along and I was sick of being behind the lens all the time so subsequently we got very few still or video memories of her apart from the first couple of months. Feel terrible admitting it but it's the truth. The good Lord did smite this Philistine however by having her grow up into a most photogenic little girl who can literally light up a page with her image. Needless to say - I've made up for my previous shortcomings and never miss an opportunity to photograph her.

Proud Dad? Naahh.
Proud Dad with well-used D70? You bet!!

Thanks Manta :D
Yes I know what you mean with the second, luckily I've got a nice new 17-55 to keep me motivated & clicking away.

Greg B,

Haven't heard from you for a while, but as usual you come up with a pearler :D
I was showing my wife this thread and we both had a good chuckle
She said thats very rude  but loved it at the same time :D

Very funny Greg. Couldn't agree more.

Mic.

mic,

snags indeed!

My son probably doesnt recognise my face at the moment, i seem to be always pointing this flashy thing in his face! (does anyone know the long term effects of continual flash photography with newborns???)

something to be said for a wife in lactation... but i wont say it on such a family forum as this :P

Proud Dad? Naahh.
Proud Dad with well-used D70? You bet!!

laughs! thats far too many blessings for one man!
