This is from our hiking on Tuesday.
The D3, lens, tripod and gear can get a bit heavy in the old backpack.
But all seems worth it a few days later - probably as good a workout as going to the gym anyway

Hi Bob, its a lovely shot. A couple of minor points - it appears over sharpened and the greens (esp. in foreground) are appearing a little plastic.

I would increase the greens of the background trees to match the foreground plant..

Justin- Thanks for the comments - I am not sure what you are seeing as oversharpening? The foreground plant was a very striking green as compared to the rest of the vegetation in the pic - pretty much represented as I saw it - possibly it is commanding to much attention in the overall scheme of the composition here

I think it is brilliant, very nice capture... I love what a longer exposure does to soften moving water.

the tree leaves to the right of the waterfall look over-sharpened, and the rocks to the left. the foreground looks ok. It may be the predominance of white patches that are there anyway

On reflection, it could be that the white balance is slightly cool... might be just me tho
