I love the splash of colour in the otherwise desaturated background. Did you desat the rest? - the bird in the background looks quite odd.

I used the glamour filter in the optikverve labs plug-in in photoshop, then i used the history brush on the front bird to restore the full color and in a moment of madness I decided to restore the colour in the water droplets, drop by drop. More time then sense I think.

Wow, it's a big difference. I would still like to see some colour in the bird behind.

Not sure whether the subjects colours are in keeping with the background which makes it look artificial....

i really like it.
its different and the more i look at it the more i like it. the water droplets are actually mesmerising.

my vote is leave it the way it is. excellent job.

Nice idea... I would have liked to see the top of the water jet, and some colour in the second lorrikeet.
