My young fella has discovered trucks. he is obsessed with them. today we bought him this CAT truck and he went berserk. great time to give the 35/f2 a bit of a work out.

As much as i am loving this lens, it is not without one significant flaw, the bokeh under some lighting conditions is absolutely diabolical. have to be very careful with this, the effect is highly visible in a full version and imo ruins the shot. the effect can slightly be seen in the first 2 photos. a full crop from another shot can be found here. http://www.flickr.com/photos/10435080@N00/2425164750/

I like these very much - Rooz has followed the first principle of child photograhy and that is - get down to their level, and boy does it work

Gorgeous images Rooz. I really like the last in the set. Great eye contact and the perspective really makes it visually powerful

thanks guys. the last shot is now a very large framed photo on our wall and it looks great.  btw: i think i went a little too far with the contrast in the eyes. first time i've tried that selective application after watching people here do it. live and learn i guess.
