OK this might be a little too much for some. I had to do a self portrait for part of a monthly comp. I really don't like self portraits. So I thought I would do an abstract one. This is 3 exposures taken in a single frame over 10 seconds. To really see the image, you have to move waaaaay back from the monitor (you really only see the image from distance). For a little help, my face should be looking right back at you (as deformed as it is). C&C most welcome on this one.

Well its a very abstract grotesque version of me. Something out of nightmares really

for those having trouble seeing it. The Mouth part is actually my beard, but you know what I mean.

Well Nigel I hope the generic descriptors are all that is common in this self portrait and under no circumstances show it to the kids A line from a movie comes to mind... "I am not an ANIMAL!"

What I meant was that it looks like a photo of a Supreme Being: God. (Now that Charlton Heston has died )

 LOL it does have that look about it. In a grotesque sort of way. I am really happy with it. To do a self portrait that looks nothing like me and yet is me kind of forfills my artistic bone.

Fantastic arty concept. Well done. I like it.
