I certainly think the bamboo needs to be colour, I think it loses too much contrast with the background in the B&W conversion. It would be interesting to see the background in black and white and the bamboo in colour. Otherwise, it shows that it is easy to find an interesting shot around the home!

OK I'll go against the trend, I like the B&W but yes loose the other crap. The reason I like the B&W is because it suits the older style of timber windows, however I would like to see a little more contrast. To me the plant is not the focal point so the fact that it is not in colour does not bother me.

I prefer the black and white too, keeps it simple!
