#1 is a pearler mate. i love the composition and the B&W conversion is spot on.

#1,3 & 4 are purferct! #2 is overly contrasty on my monitor. Nice work.

Darren, great images, especially 3 & 4. You have probably forgotten since it was mentioned to you 5 days ago and also probably missed the red instruction bar on the top of posts here, but we have an 800 pixel limit and 200kb size limit. We don't have the limit to be obstructionist, we have it because a number of members have dial up and smaller screen size and we wish to make this as enjoyable as possible for all. I have made the images links, feel free to shrink the images a bit a remake them as images or leave them as links if you would prefer them seen that way.

As portraits, I really love the eye contact in #3 and #4, however (and it may just be me), for ANZAC march photographs, I think the eye contact sort of takes away from the occasion, if you know what I mean. It is sort of like they are marching for you (and only you).

Actually agree with you in retrospect.

Also, must get the hang of resizing a bit better !!! sorry mods.
