Just some portraits from a shoot I did this weekend.

This is not a creative one, but something for stock library.

The rest I took for myself.

Last 2 in this series are terrific alex. The only suggestion would be to offer the eyes in the last image a little more room to look into. Similarly in the second last a little tight for space around the apple.

For me, the second two are standouts - the lighting really works, particularly the tight lighting in the 3rd and the resultant falloff, which really emphasises the face.

I, personally, am not a fan of the soft glamour look used in the 4th - not sure why, just doesn't appeal to me, but I am aware a lot of other people like it. :D

With the first, I am guessing (often poorly) that the photo is about consumerism or credit cards, and therefore you are not wanting to show the card provider, however, I would suggest showing the front of the card may have more impact as it is less busy than the back of the card? I am not sure if I explained that properly, but I know what I mean. :D

Thanks for your useful comments, Patrick. I like the last two the most as well.

In the first, I deliberately turned the card over so that the logo of the card provider is not seen as a stock library would not allow brand names to be displayed. I could have photoshopped it out through.

Cheers
Alex
