Hi John,
some great captures there, i not sure why your pics are soft and lack contrast. what type of settings are you shooting at?

I like the panning shot on the last one. It sure gives it a sense of speed!

John we have you as the master of the track and Max as the master of the surf - great shots BTW.

If you pics are sharp on screen but not when posted it is something in the conversion that is probably giving the soft focus IMO

Great pan in pic #3 and I love the cloud patterns in #2. Perhaps a tighter crop in #2, just show the tips of the trees to give perspective. Get rid of the dull ground and people :?:

Thanks guys, well redline all i have done is convert to jpeg from Raw and thats about it. Then i open in PS7 and add signature and resize thats about it and looks ok here but soon as i send to pixspot it falls in a hole.
i do save them as good quality after i resizes.

John - when you open the RAW image do all of your PP’ing then convert to 8bit under mode in PS. Then go into image size and convert the longest pixel size in the two top boxes (whichever) to 800 pixels - this will give you and image of about 1.2Mb. Then do a save as and save as a Jpeg with a value of 8. Et voila - this is how I do mine and they are fine. :D
