Panning shots from Adelaide Classic

Went to the city stage of the Adelaide Classic late last year. Here's a few shots I was pretty happy with:

1) Beetle spinning out right out in front of the camera (bit of luck involved!)

Nice shots Potato, done well and good panning. Always good to be in the right place where the action is but as i know with what i do sometimes the action is where you have just left that spot and at a different part of the track..

You had to pan to get a VW shot??? You must use REALLY long exposures? :o

Seriously. Love these shots. Car photos don't generally appeal. Maybe its because these are reminders of my youth.
It looks like the MG has mag wheels, not the original wire wheels? Shame. they look much better. But then maybe I am familiar with a different model.
