Something a bit different from me, some explosions! All shot with D200 + 45P. The red colour is due to the presence of strontium ions. Enjoy!

This last one is a bit lacking technically, but I think conveys the power of these things well!

Cool shots... was it more fun firing off rockets, taking photos of them, or taking photos as an excuse for firing off rockets?

Barium carbonate will give you green.

Definitely more fun setting them off, photos were more of an afterthought.

Yeah I like the last one too. I think the blown highlights and the earth moving demonstrate the power of that one!
