Circular Quay

These photos at circular quay were taken with an EOS 400d, 75-300mm + 18-55mm, also shot at 1/125. Minor photoshopping has been done to them.

Feel free to comment on ways to improve, as it does help. Also please comment on what other things should be done to them in photoshop.

Like the first but could be better without the building (might take awhile even with PS)
Like the clouds, you could use it to replace other boring skies in other photos..

Love the translucency in the clouds in #3!

#2 is a nice silhouette, but a lot of the picture is dark... perhaps lose some off the bottom? Or even crop all the way to the mast and spars, down to the first bits of light on the bridge.

i can't quite just picture what your describing, do you think you can show me if possible ?

mmm, thanks for that.

I'll have a look into different ways of cropping that photo. I find it really useful with other peoples opinions to make my photos better.

Heh it's only my opinion + a quiet day at work. I've been doing a bit of CC today, and tried to give my blunt first impressions as they are usually good when looking at photographs, and I don't seem to have p*ssed anyone off (yet) :shock:
