Please note that image critiquing is a matter of give and take: if you post images for critique, and you then expect to receive criticism, then it is also reasonable, fair and appropriate that, in return, you post your critique of the images of other members here as a matter of courtesy. So please do offer your critique of the images of others; your opinion is important, and will help everyone here enjoy their visit to far greater extent.

Also please note that, unless you state something to the contrary, other members might attempt to repost your image with their own post processing applied. We see this as an acceptable form of critique, but should you prefer that others not modify your work, this is perfectly ok, and you should state this, either within your post, or within your signature.

Bob, this is a well exposed shot but for me the bottom left hand corner keeps drawing me away from the rest of the image. I sense that you were trying for the symetrical view and it is oh so close but because it is just slightly out of perfect I keep getting drawn back to that corner..

Just for you and all those other folk who like symmetry.

Very nice image.
I didn't notice the issue with the bottom left corner before I read Big V's post.
And I still don't! :)

I'm not quite sure what the comment that is being made about symmetry (Yes the sea isn't reflecting the sunrise identically on both sides of the jetty but you can't help that). Both shots require rotation for horizon not being level. The only thing I do notice is distortion in the jetty at the bottom of the shot. Could be down to either water/dry weather distorting the jetty/decking or the other thing could be lens distortion due to a wide angle lens.

Great shot regardless.
