I love race cars but normal everyday cars dont do it for me. kinda funny cos a friend asked me to do something different and another mate asked me to take some shots of his car. perfect opportunity ! the car owner is a Beemer nut, (Geoff, ask Sonia about Tarek), so i wanted the logo to be prominent in alot of the shots to keep him happy ! funny conversation with him cos he wants pics of his car, (very nice convertible), and i give him these...fark it was funny. :D

anyway, its not something i''d normally do and wanted to add my own slant to the shots. so obviously, not much of the car to look at. this is the car thru my eyes. lines, curves, angles, perspectives...all shots taken with either the 35/2 or 105/2.8. multiple flash used all over the place. the full set is on flickr, i'll put in my 4 faves here. C&C welcome.

#1: this is my favourite of the set. i really, really like this.

Beautiful shots.. I can see why you love #1. I think #2 is just as good, the b&w conversion is tops.

Great shots, lovely contrasty saturated images. Like you said, something very different, and very appealling indeed.

You take them for a client?

Rooz, 1 is just fantastic. 4 may embarrass him, the wheel nuts are rusty and the wheels haven't been cleaned around them, but at least his beloved badges are shiny :D
