Hiya,
My other hobby is shedding leaves at the moment, as I cleaning up the mess, I figured I'd have a play with photographing the leaves.. what do you think!
Cheers

I like the first shot. The leaves look a little different than full size ones.
Have you got any shots of your Bonsai with the Autumn leaves? I bet it looks impressive.

I'm a fan of the first shot Makario, I think it'd look good in print/canvas too!
Can you share with us your setup for this shot? It's very clean!

Thanks for the comments... I am glad you both like the 1st one as its my fav as well...
The setup is made up of a white photomounting foamboard from a craft shop, flash set to manual facing forward (no bouncing off the walls etc), and sprinkled the leaves making sure that they were all face up.
In terms of photo of the bonsai itself, I couldnt seem to isolate the bonsai as my background was not the best and I got a door knob which detract from the image, hence I am planning on making a product photography tent/box and then give it a go. However, its a bit late as most of the leaves have fallen off.
Cheers
Mak
