DSLR Meetup - High ISO

Played around quite a bit with the 50mm 1.4 and higher ISO's (1600 and 3200)

Pics are straight from camera, only crop on 2 of them and resize.

The picture of Leigh has a lovely, painterly quality about it. I love what happens to the colours when the light drops.

I agree with Matt, for some reason it reminds me of the Mona Lisa (no reflection on Leigh of course :D ) Although I probably would have cropped it just above the shadow on the chest.

I was very pleasantly surprised at the one with the cars at 3200 ISO

The car photo doesn't look like a high ISO photo! I have found that I get a bit of noise on my 350D if I don't expose correctly..even in broad day light... Maybe your exposure is spot on in the car photo?
