Following on from my kid modeling thread... I decided to play with the rockstar image some more.

Ended up making it into a promo card which I may or may not use

What do you think as a promo card? At least it is a little different

Different it is Andrew (cute pic too), the concept is there but when I think rockstar though, I think sex, drugs and rock n roll. :?

Whilst I can see a connection between the kid and a rock n roll 'look' I don't think it's enough to REALLY link the two. If there were a prop like a guitar or drum sticks in the image, then perhaps.

Also, at least on my LCD the kid's right hand shoulder/tummy looks blown and blends into the background too much, but it could be the monitor I'm looking at.

My two cents worth.

nice work but as Geoff said, not sure about the perception of linking rockstar and children together...could try superstar :)

Also only critique is that the kid has no hands...

Yep, the shoulder/tummy are blown but I was not too concerned about that, it is all about the look on his face. Having a mic or drum sticks would have been good but then I don't think I would ever have gotten the shoot working with kids AND props

That is becouse he only had a nappy on and I didn't want it in the shot

We were just getting a shot which highlighted the beanie and ended up with this as one if them.

Andrew, love the concept. For reasons Geoff has noted, I don't think this is the shot to use, but very much like your concept.

Really... you don't think he looks like he has just stepped out of Seattle

Nah, that is cool. As mentioned this was not going to be for everyone. I cna see it working in an Ed Hardy store though 8)

Maybe I will revisit this again some day. It is good to target different audiences every now and then.
