I was asked to do a portrait shoot for a family freind and these are just a few of the captures. Took some outside at the local park and some in the studio. C&C would be much appreciated.

Excellent portraits. The last two have a very natural look. I also like the grittiness of the 2nd one and composition of the 1st. All have nice and suitable treatment.

Love them all except the second. While I love the gritty look in general, it doesn't necessarily go with the little character..

While the snot coming out of the nose isn't that flattering I like the gritty one the best of all. It shows what the little buggers are really like most of the time

Love the second shot. It makes me think he has just walked off a rugby field or played a game of scrag.

Thanks all for your comments. I am yet to show them to the parents. I prefer No.2 my self but I suspect the parents will favour 3 & 4.

2nd photo to me tells a story but hmm whats the story it could be anything, there all very nice shots 4th one is also great
