Escher stairs - which way is up?

Recently I was able to borrow a 10-20 lens which I had a great time playing with (unfortunately I had to give it back)

Below are a couple of my efforts taken in a stairwell - I tried to flatten myself against the wall as much as possible but still ended up with lots of shots that included my knees and one with my face ....

Anyway, here they are:

What are people's opinions on graffiti - leave it or try to remove it?

really like the second one but still wondering how u managed to get it without your feet in the pic. Leave the graffiti

Nice shot but the middle of the first looks a bit soft? Bit of dodging and burning and add grunge texture to make it look like art...

.... it's actually upside down ......... I tried it the 'proper' way but didn't like it as much (is that cheating?) :D
