Red Backed Fairy Wren

I went up to Coolum this afternoon wanting to capture a Brahminy Kite in flight. I have seen it around there recently. While I was waiting a couple of fairy wrens appeared in the area alongside the beach. I managed to stalk them for a while as the Kite didn't appear. The light was still pretty harsh around 3 pm and this was one of the few shots where the background wasn't to cluttered.

I'm impressed that you can capture these quick things! I think that you've done very well for harsh light and no choice about background.

500mmF4 and a 1.4 converter and even then a sizeable crop
