We had a great time at the Werribee Zoo photo shootout. Thanks to Mudder who spend alot of time putting everything together.

I was unable to upload the pics to pixspot and so I had to find alternatives.

Had about 57 pics in the following url.

That one touch is a nice piece of glass! Can I suggest one tip that may improve your imagery....all of the images were taken from the same viewpoint...It is a good practice to avoid taking a picture from the same point of view as it would be seen normally. A lower angle would have increased the impact on some of your photo's. Just my opinion but a valid principle of photography.
Keep posting. I enjoyed the images.

Heaps of pics there Arthur. Some familiar poses there. Nice pics.

In regards to the angle, we were all in a open sided truck and weren't allowed out so no go there.

Matt,

Whilst I agree with the concept, in practise we were all on the back of a truck being driven about the park. So not only do all our images have the same perspective, there are seven copies of each image, through different lenses (Greg :-) )

We discussed having our own competition called "The Same Perspective"

Cheers

Hi

Postby yeocsa on Tue Mar 01, 2005 9:28 pm

Thanks to all for the kind comments. Agree totally with Matt about the different angles and composition.

Some of the pics have inconsistent exposures as I have gotten tired of doing the corrections. Also, some of the pictures could be much better if cropped.

I am looking forward to the next trip there or to the zoo for more practices.

cheers,

Arthur

Dunno if I'd be game enough to get a low angle with the Bison or the Rhino

Was great to meet you guys too...
