At the ParkI feel my shots are starting to improve... CC please.
Re: At the Parklast 2 have my attention...well done
Re: At the ParkNice set of shots i like them all but think #2 would be good without the swan to the left.

Re: At the ParkThanks for the advice Dave, was trying to convey some sort of relationship between the swans, but I guess that didn't really work...
Re: At the Parknice pictures Jase555, where were these swans? Hardly see them around sydney but then again i hardly go out looking for such things.
Personally i wouldnt mind a bit more sharpness but that just my taste. -j
Re: At the Park
I disagree, Dave. I love the shallow depth of field. The other swan in the image places the first in context. Nice work.
Re: At the ParkJase,
I'm not sure if it's my monitor here at work or not, but these photos seem to be a little dark (to me), except for maybe no. 2. No. 3 is the standout for me, though I would have liked to see more definition on the swan (it's a touch too underexposed - for my liking anyway)....though I do know how hard it is to expose for black (or white) swans Just as a suggestion for no.4, which is a cute photo BTW, try taking the shot with the subject off-centre (in case of this image, with her to the left of centre) so it looks like she is running into the shot. I also don't mind the shallow DOF and can see where you were heading with that photo. Hope you find this constructive Dave

Re: At the Park
This is close to where I live, Clinches Pond, Moorebank. Thanks for the tips - debate over #2 proves that beauty is really in the eye of the beholder. A good shot to one person may not be to another...
Re: At the ParkHad a crack at shooting swans this morning Jase (before one had a crack at me ). They aren't a easy thing to photograph especially considering their colour. Nice shots mate.
