Tassie Snow shots

Went out towards Cradle Mountain today to get some snow shots, Didnt get the cracker of a shot i wanted so these will have to do.

Taking pics in the snow wasnt too bad but every thing is white (as you would expect).

Hi Dave - that just looks cold !!! :shock: (wish we had a chattering teeth emoticon ;)LOL
Just my opinion, but the road verge in the bottom left hand corner keeps dragging my attention away from the rest of the photo - if you crop it just above this section (I know it turns into a pano), it leads your eye along the road and into the distance - but as I said, just my opinion.
I should imagine that shooting snow would be bloody hard (I've never seen it LOL), but I reckon you did a bloody good job :)

EXcellent shots, I like the 2nd one best, it just appeals to me.

In #2, the snow is a little too grey, probably because the white snow dominates the shot, and the metering is thinking middle grey. You need to give it a bit more +EV.

I was up at 7 am digging the car out of the snow at Guthega this morning. Love the stuff (most of the time) :lol:
