Baby Photographs - JacobThese are the pick of my first attempts at some 'printable' shots of my month old baby boy...
Some PP has been done in Lightroom.
Re: Baby Photographs - JacobFantastic shots Dan...what a gorgeous boy you've got. I can't imagine how many million photos I will take when our time comes! (no, Bel's not pregnant yet hehe).
These both look a tad under exposed on my (calibrated) monitor and I'd like to see a bit more saturation in both. Keep em coming, and congrats mate, is this no.1 ? Geoff
Special Moments Photography Nikon D700, 50mm 1.4, 85mm 1.4, 70-200 2.8VR, SB800 & some simple studio stuff.
Re: Baby Photographs - Jacobyeah no. 1... lots of work but worth every second.
yeah they do look slightly underexposed now you mention it.
Re: Baby Photographs - Jacobcongrats on the boy first of all mate. like you said, lotsa work but worth every second.
i think the first one looks good, i agree with Geoff, the second is a tad underexposed. nothing a quick curves bump cant fix. looks like your light source is behind his face, maybe is you spot metered off his shadowed face it would have bump up your exposure a little...couldnt you get him to co operate and turn around ? lol they are quite desaturated, not sure if that was your intention or not. personally, i quite like it.
