My First Dawg show...I was commissioned to attend a dog show last weekend and take some photos of the little mutleys
I was pretty happy with the results considering it's a looooong way from my comfort zone of shooting motorsport... all shots with a 40D and 70-200 2.8 (NON IS) and are straight from the camera, just resized in ACDSee at 65% resolution.. The owners loved them, and have shown all the others in their club and want me to go back and shoot lots more for them... comments and suggestions appreciated... Cheers

Re: My First Dawg show...#2 I think has captured the mutt really well and portrayed his inquisitive nature. Nice photo.
Re: My First Dawg show...I like them.. The fact that your audience loved them says it all really! Keep it up..
Re: My First Dawg show...Thanks for the comments,
#2 was just a lucky shot I think - I was standing about 3 Metres away as they were all standing around waiting for their next 'showing' and I just made a "meooow" noise as the dog looked my way.. she must have thought it was dinner time :p That puppy is only about 8 mths old, so I think it's got a lot to do with the "what's that" look on it's face.. Cheers

Re: My First Dawg show...#2 is great, the dog looks like it's posing for you ! I can never get my dog to look at me long enough to take a good snap, she always runs off when she sees my camera =/
