Let’s be honest, anytime we point a camera towards the sun we have to compromise between what is blown and what is not.
The trees, boring. The beacon,boring (although integral to the total image).
What is totally beautiful IMO are the railings and even more so than that, the shadow of the railings. Time and again my eyes are drawn to that shadow and without the sun being where it is, the shadow would not exist in that form.
So, in conclusion I find it totally acceptable to have the blown areas because they are the cause effect of the final composition
