i love taking photos of signs. i don't know why. maybe because it's graphic design, but in three dimensions. dunno...

here's a pic from a recent trip to Albuquerque. the famous route 66 goes straight through town (they call it Central Avenue), and Nob Hill is the fashionable end of it (and where the photo equipment stores are )

this was taken at sunset, after a very hot day...

So, did you order rosso or verde?

I love New Mexico ... and especially Santa Fe.

And I love travelling the old Route 66, although there's not a lot of it left. These days it's more I10, IIRC.

I'm a fan of signs, well of photography of signs and I really like this one, including the power lines which I think add to the shot.
Interestingly the sign is in part promoting photography as well, which is kind of ironic in the context. BTW I like the use of negative space!
