Finally found his tree

I have been watching this Osprey around Coolum for a while and today I saw him fly past with his fish and I tracked around the Headlands looking for his tree where he eats. I looked over a cliff edge and there he was enjoying his prey. Was really quite overcast but with the help of the Better Beamer I managed a good few decent shots.

Comments welcome:

A bit hard to tell from this angle but it could be a young bird. Others I've seen/ photgraphed seem to have a longer tail.

Great Photo Bob! Nature just keeps on providing us with the best subjects! I love the way your sharp DOF crystalises the bird out of his natural camouflage.

It's gorgeous, so sharp! Unfortunately, I never have enough patience with animals. :(

Great shot though!
