Just a couple of an abandoned shearing shed which I thought deserved the B&W treatment.

a nice find. and with a couple of sheep skins too
did you use NX2 to convert the images? i've been playing with the BW conversion filter a bit lately and love the effect of lowering the colour filter strength to near 0 and bumping the contrast up a notch or two. gives a really dramatic feel. it doesn't suit every image but i'd love to see that treatment on these ones...

I love the old shearing sheds, i remember playing in them when i was younger up around glendambo, and the old bomb shelters from the woomera test launches, the feel you captured pretty much gives the feel i remember, top work.
You guys certainly inspire me to shoot more and more and try new things, thanks!

We shot in an old shearing shed last Oct. Out of all the images taken on the farm that day the shearing shed images are my favs.
