Images from Washington

It's been a gadzillion years since I posted images here. Here are some shots from a recent trip to Washington - from the Washington monument and Arlington National Cemetery. It was the first excursion with my new D300; first impression (with the 18-200 VR attached) - damn it's heavy.
Anyways, please comment on these images. Are the monochrome shots too dark?

I like the last one for the angle, except for the fact that its missing the ground.

I actually like all of them, but think that #4 could be outstanding with the ground in frame - perhaps framing portrait instead of landscape would of allowed you to include the ground and to keep the angled perspective. I think the first two work well in B/W, very moody.

If you had got to ground level on the second it would've been real nice.
