sb900/ R1/ 105VR.

45mins of looking around or a spider, about to pack up frustrated and cursing winter. hen i found him on my monopod's QRP ! go figure huh ?

so i picked him up

put him on a branch where i want him...

then look up and see blue sky and clouds to the right..."hmmm wonder if i can get him in the sky ??"

then pick him up and move him where i want...

the whole shoot took around 1 hour. 5 minutes set up time, 45 minutes searching time and 10 minutes shooting time. the joy of bug chasing ! lol

Good story - and I think that the shot you've ended up with is really nice.

What a friendly little guy - I usually hate anything to do with spiders but your series brings out a nice character!

I have seen pics of this type of spider before and imagined it to be much bigger. Am I mistaking it for another type or is this a 'baby' one?

he's a jumping spider. thats about an average size one really. they dont get too much bigger than that. not that i've ever seen anyway.
