Osprey Reef Trip MacrosHere are some shots from my recent Osprey reef trip. All from an ikelite housing with a Tamron 90mm on a Canon 20D.

So many toys, so little time....
Re: Osprey Reef MacrosNice shots, Doug. I, too, have just come back from the GBR and Osprey Reef.
I love the coral crab but wish there was a little more detail or at least separation from the background. Both Sarcophyton are great, especially the detail in the second where the siphonozoids are clearly visible between the contracted autozooids. I have only been able to manage shots like that in an aquarium. The nudibranch is great. Was that really at Osprey? Looks more like the nudibranchs on the Ribbon Reefs.
Re: Osprey Reef Trip MacrosYou have a sharp eye ATJ!
I thought I titled it 'Osprey reef trip' Some how missed the trip. A couple more coming from Osprey itself tonight if I get time. It was a trip on Nimrod from Cairns to Osprey and back via the ribbon reefs. The third shot here is on Osprey, the others are on the ribbons. Thanks for the id on the coral, haven't had time to look up names. Yes, the separation is hard to get on the coral crabs! It is hard enough to find them much less get a good shot! So many toys, so little time....
