Doing an obstetrics and gynaecology rotation at the moment, and we have a portfolio to do (mostly case reports etc.) in which they encourage us to use a little creativity. I came up with a series (not yet finished) titled 'Tools of the Trade'
Click for larger.
The photoshopping is not perfect, I haven't spent that much time on it.
C&C appreciated.

Nick,
You say that the post may not be perfect, but IMHO, it's bloody good.
The concept is great, and it is well explored in this series. There appears to be a small amount of motion in the second of these images, and that, to me, makes it the pick of the bunch.
Well done.

I really love the "disembodied hand" condept - its spectacular! Having the gloved hand not only adds interest to these photos, but it provides a very useful sense of scale for the tools you've photographed.

Awesome work Nick. Great concept and execution. I reckon these would look great framed, there's a fine art quality to them.

While I also like the basic concept of the images and the execution I notice there are no ladies saying how wonderful they look.
