orchid macros

That last tongue shot is amazing - how much detail can you get ???? :)

Your stunning shots captured so much detail! The colours are so vivid too :)

I've been tossing up whether or not to get a macro lens and your images are on their way to convincing me to do just that :D

Very stunning photos - and you make me want extension tubes more than ever!

Are these photos the full frame captured by the camera, or have you cropped the images at all? If its the full view from the camera, then you must have been very close to the orchid in the third shot. Well done!

........ all 3 images are full frame, the only PP done was some dirt removal from the flower and slight white balance increase, little unsharp mask, raw to jpeg, and post.......
