Hey Thai, uhm godofpizza,LOL Well nice pics as usual and well i guess you will get the coments about the(u need a leveler for your camera) hahaha.
But still good pics i find myself tilting my head to look at them, and in saying that i was at the track last weekend and there was MotoX action at the dirt track there and did try tilting the camera, just to see what the effect looked like, but yeh was so so.

We have a big MotoX show on here saturday night at our speedway and well dont have the SB800 yet and at a cost of $80+ to get for myself and tribe i will stay home. I have motorbikes at the track this weekend and a car rally on sunday so yeh, you pics inspire me to try something different and well i wont say i always like them that way, but it is different.
Cheers

Redline, you catch a great sense of movement in many of those shots. Always good to look at your shots :D

Thai - an amusing heading ”a couple of pics” but as per usual you certainly have the handle on shooting these fast moving cars - well done :D

Thai

As usual great pics with your trdaemark angle

I really like the eighth one where the guy is waving his hand in the air. Guess he was happy.

The driver in pic #7 looks like he's on the way out of the car!

Nice grabs (as usual) Thai. :D

Thai, great shots again; particularly that smoked up Corolla. I'd be worried if you ever posted shots that weren't on an angle.

Cheers
Peter

Thanks for your comments guys. the evening light does provide an interesting twist to my usual pics. too bad the 300 prime couldn't hack the blown-outs cos of the lack of the pricy cir-pol. hopefully i would get it soon.

boxerboy, that corolla was pretty good at the track meet and suprised me how well he handled his car. its usually the small cars which perform better- or seem easier handling than the big car like the ute or supras.

BBJ, don't even try to send me a spirit level to attach to my camera... mines currently collecting dust hidden away in shame. Just remember to use the correct filters on your sb800(when you get it of course) to match the lighting they have at the mx show. or you'll endup with mixed lighting.

sirhc55, yeah the "couple of pics" its a pretty low level meet most ppl were practicing. didn't expect too much. but i am quite surpirsed to see how ppl have improved over the course of the year. as i went to the very first one it was completely horrid shoot. rain, poor lighting, complete pitch black and a huge amount of ego over skill.

Hi Redline,

I really like the 2nd and 3rd shots. They are rock steady - clear and crisp to view. The motion blur on these two shots pleases me too. All of these exposures are very close - peas in a pod - great to view. Long live the tilt!

Cheers,
