Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran ParkHi guys, here's some of mine from the weekend, keen for any critique!
1. Formula Vee driver Morgan Freemantle. 2. Trent Young's flaming RX7 Sports Sedan. 3. Supertrucks + airtime = 4. Awesome wheel alignment.
Re: Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran Parknice shots...that 'wheel alignment' cracked me up!!
nikon stuff
Re: Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran ParkI dig no. 2, just check out that speed and the flames!
Re: Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran ParkI like all of them. They are very nice pictures!
Re: Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran ParkThanks everyone! Interesting... the WB on 2 doesn't bother anyone?
Re: Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran ParkI noticed it, but only because I was there and know how cloudy it was... but the shot has so much more going for it. The entry to that corner has a great elevation change, great use of angles with the downhill and the opposing downhill on the main straight heading the other way. What shutter speed did you use on that shot? My guess is 1/125.
Re: Flames, trucks and Vees from Oran ParkFair enough, thanks for the comments! The thing that annoys me a little is the different colour of the two wheels, but I guess that happens when you have a very warm light source emerging from the exhaust pipe. Shutter speed was 1/160 IIRC, they're really moving there!
